A summary course description

The technical cooperation process and the results obtained by the National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of Panama (SENACYT), through the realization of the Course-Workshop “Methodology of Alliance Creation and Sustainable Commitments. The innovation agenda as strategy to strengthen the Company-University link” in the City of Panama from January 12 to 16 of the current year, are presented below

The purpose of the activity was to develop a set of tools for the training Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation of Panama (SENACYT) staff in the Company.-University linkage, that would contribute to connect the industrial sector with the academic sector and the civil society, as a support to a Technical Cooperation with the Republic of Panam.

Personalities from the Panamanian academic, industrial and entrepreneurial sectors attended the event, among them: the Council of Rectors, Education and Teaching Cooperative, the University of Panama, the University of the Isthmus, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Technological University of Panama and the National Union of SMEs. As a result of learning the tools offered by the creation of alliances and sustainable commitments methodology, they obtained two interesting pilot work proposals that could perfectly be implemented in reality with the help of the involved organizations as the initial node, SENACYT as the coordinating organization and the Andean Development Corporation as the facilitating organization, which would provide the necessary technical cooperation for their adequate development, through its Andean Competitiveness Program.
